A small studio in Ebisu, west of Shibuya.
Tucked into a converted print shop two blocks from the Yamanote line. Visits are by appointment, often paired with a viewing of current works on paper.

The studio is in a quiet pocket of Ebisu, a few steps from a small park and a beloved kissaten. We are happy to host collectors, curators, and collaborators for a viewing of works on paper.
- 5 minutes on foot from Ebisu Station (West Exit) on the JR Yamanote, Saikyō, and Shōnan–Shinjuku lines.
- From Shibuya: 6 min by Yamanote line. From Shinjuku: 12 min via Saikyō line.
- From Haneda Airport: ~45 min by train. From Narita: ~90 min via Narita Express.
- Building entrance: ground floor, marked with a small black "JF" plaque — ring once.

One-of-one works generated in dialogue with a brief — for private collections, corporate programmes, and institutional acquisitions. Each piece is shipped with a signed certificate and edition file.

Limited licensing of existing works for editorial features, book covers, fashion campaigns, and brand collaborations. We can also generate a new visual language on assignment.

Q.01Do you take commissions from individual collectors?
Yes. Roughly a third of the studio's work each year is commissioned by private collectors, often for a specific interior, mood, or anniversary. We usually begin with a short conversation by email and a few reference images, then move into the studio for sketches and a small proof.
Q.02What does the pricing structure look like?
Pricing depends on scale, edition size, medium, and intended use. Original one-of-one works on paper begin at ¥480,000; larger commissions, brand assignments, and exclusive licences are quoted individually. We share a clear estimate after the first exchange — never before.
Q.03How long does a typical commission take?
An original artwork on paper takes 8–14 weeks from brief to delivery, including proofs and signing. Larger installations, brand work, and exhibition pieces are scheduled around studio capacity, which we confirm at the time of the proposal.
Q.04Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We work with a specialist art courier for framed and unframed works, and provide insured shipping, customs documentation, and white-glove installation for pieces above 1.5 metres on the long edge. Shipping fees are quoted separately.
Q.05Can I visit the studio without an appointment?
Not usually — the studio is small and we are often in the middle of printing. If you are in Tokyo, we are happy to arrange a short visit on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons. Please write at least a week in advance.
Q.06Are prints of existing works available?
Selected works are released as signed, time-limited editions through the Works archive. We do not run a permanent open-edition print shop. If a piece you love is sold out, we keep a quiet waiting list and notify you when a new run is released.

A note before you go
We read every message, even the short ones.
If you're not sure whether your idea is a fit, write anyway. The studio is small, but the door is open — and many of the most interesting projects began as a single paragraph. For a slower, more reflective way to follow the work, the studio Journal is published four times a year from the same address.
